The aquascaping is one of the latest trends Aquarium. Rare are the videos available on the web (d)’Aquascaping dedicated to an aquarium at discus…
Aquarium Design Group designed a very nice aquarium dedicated to a green discus group. Congratulations to them for this " Hardscape " (Aquarium composed of root elements, Rocks and sand substrate)

or can we have the same kind of root of the video a hardscape for discus cordially
Good evening,
By the turn of your corner pet you should find your happiness.
The "roots spider" give that kind of made, must be "fair" to find the right parts…

Hello,
I think the video it's roots "drift wood" from the USA.
However you can easily find "Desert Wood" roots that give the same effect.
However I was wondering if it was possible to cover the root with a resin suitable to prevent the attachment of algae. Thank you for your return.

Hello 🙂
We can cover the roots of epoxy resin. Several layers are needed. But it would seem that this affects the buoyancy of wood…
Should be lester decoration.
However I have never heard that this treatment prevents the attachment of algae (?)
Yann 🙂
Hello,
Could you tell me where I can find the necessary information to achieve a correct microsiemens and mineral salt water in order to grow my Discus.
I started with him …
best regards Frank
Hello Franck,
I suggest reading these two articles:
http://www.fanatik-discus.com/2009/09/les-besoins-en-eau-des-discus/
http://www.fanatik-discus.com/2010/02/comprendre-les-principaux-parametres-deau/
This should I think already help you. Necessary, I invite you to ask your questions at the end of the article.
Hoping to meet your research (?)
Yann
Thank you for that 'rapid' but for my part I would love to know the method for the mixture of ro water and mineral salts 'dose and conductivity.
Thank you in advance .
Hello Franck,
This topic deserve an article to him alone… An article that is missing on the site…
To make quick and easy: Starting on a basis of ro water weakly mineralized with a low conductivity; more you add mineral salts and the conductivity rises.
You need to graduate a container to gain some time to "make" your water.
For the breeding discus, seeking a conductivity between 250 and 350 micro siemens. Of course it will take parallel "finer" controlling other parameters.
If needed, do not hesitate to contact me by private Message via Facebook of Fanatik-Discus page.
